My process always begins with a needs assessment. I collaborate closely with stakeholders to define clear, measurable business goals that directly address the challenges you're facing. This stage ensures we understand the root cause of the issue, allowing us to design a solution that aligns with both business objectives and learner needs.
During this phase, I use the following methods:
Action mapping and design thinking
Data analysis
Learner analysis
Task analysis
Surveys and questionnaires
Interviews
Focus groups
Observations

Between conducting a needs assessment and crafting the learning solution, I develop a detailed design document. If training is identified as the right solution, we define the format and outline the content accordingly.
Key elements in this stage include:
Kirkpatrick’s levels of evaluation
Clear, SMART learning objectives
Scenario-based questions tied to objectives
Backward design methodology
Principles of Adult Learning Theory
Gagné’s nine events of instruction
E-learning storyboarding
Iterative design using the SAM model

In the development phase, I continue to apply the SAM model, gathering feedback at each iteration—alpha, beta, and gold—until we achieve a polished learning solution.
The tools I use in this stage include:
Articulate Rise 360
Articulate Storyline 360
Camtasia
Vyond
PowerPoint
Canva
In Storyline, I enhance engagement with interactive elements such as branching scenarios, mini-assessments, accordions, zoom regions, motion paths, lightboxes, drag-and-drop activities, knowledge checks, and more.

Once the deliverables are finalized, I handle the publishing process. For e-learning courses, I export SCORM files and coordinate with your team to upload them to the LMS.
After the solution has been in use, I work with you to assess its impact on achieving our business objectives. Key aspects of the evaluation include:
Data analysis
Applying Kirkpatrick’s levels of evaluation
Identifying the solution’s strengths
Pinpointing areas for improvement or adjustments
Developing action plans for any necessary changes
Finally, we celebrate the success of the project!
